The Eugene Smith’s Experiment. When the Perspective Changes Everything.

Eugene Smith uses all his cunning to show to his students the most important truth in photography.

Eugene Smith amazes, regardless of the context in which you place him. We know him for his wonderful reportage taken during the World War II conflict but he was also an excellent photography teacher at Arizona University. His students remember perfectly the eccentric methods used by him to explain the art of photography. This phrase is a little part of one of many experiments made by him on a normal scholastic day.

The EXPERIMENT

Every day his students bring their cameras to the lesson. They can take a photo of everything that they want at any time: for Eugene, this is a sacred rule, over that a great incentive to increase the sensibility vision.
