3 Tips for not trash immediately a photo

We usually take a lot of photos during our photography session. Much of these are sharing in Social Networks, Instagram in primis, others are instead thrown away or saving in our hard disk — waiting for their propitious moment.

It happens more and more often than we trash a photo without before give them a last chance, the last occasion to enter in our portfolio. It’s absurd to think how we spend a lot of time behind making our images: we hesitate in front of our subjects. We search for the right angle, the right way, to tell our story.

While, when we have the photograph taken in our hand, we show ourselves proud, fearless, ready to judge them instantly: in or out. Such as a Roman emperor in the Arena.

But not always a boring photo is necessarily immune to improvements. Some photos require more time to understand and appreciated. They are as flowers: they show us their beauty at the end of the process (then, in these cases, can be days or indeed months).

I can assure you that resume a photo after many days completely changes our opinion on it. It happened to me often to resume an old photo in my archive and to thank the past Gianluca for not trash her. I would have pulled my hair out at the thought of losing a photo without first have given her a last chance.
